Family owned and operated, the Shoppe is known for sausage and barbecue sauce. Owner Ivy Chambers makes and smokes a variety of sausages from scratch. The sauce is sweet with a cajun kick. Chambers opened the restaurant after entering retirement but he began perfecting his barbecue long before opening The Sausage Shoppe. The homemade barbecue sides include potato salad, baked beans and banana pudding.

If you’re looking for a good burger with a side of fun then Fred’s is where it’s at. Outlaw chef Terry Chandler has created a unique destination with lchuckwagon style cooking, cold beer and live music on the outdoor patio. The award-winning “Fred Burger” is a half pound of Texas beef served with hand cut fries you can top with cheese, bacon and grilled onions or a taco meat, cheese, sour cream and peppers.

Italian wedding cake also provides an uncommon dessert that is a must try.
