Letter to the Editor: There are better safety precautions than speed bumps

While safety is of primary importance, installing speed bumps on Stadium Drive is not the best solution. Lowered speed limits, enhanced enforcement and, especially, improvements to the intersection in front of the BLUU are better options. A bus and a speed bump make a very uncomfortable duo. There is also a difference between a speed bump and a speed hump. I don’t believe the City of Fort Worth installs speed bumps anymore. As the president of my neighborhood association, I also know the city is very reluctant to install speed humps.
